What to Read 32: Interview with J.A. Konrath

I spoke to JA Konrath at the Murder and Mayhem in Muskego meeting this past Saturday. Konrath spoke about electronic publishing, writing instruction, publishing, Han Solo, and made fun of Barry Eisler.

Maybe I should get a new coffee machine

Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews. 9 CDs at 11 hours. Werewolves, paranormal, swords, lions, Atlanta, Midnight Games, dark plot, shape-shifting.

Dark Slayer
by Christine Feehan. 12 discs, 14.5 hours. Hot chick in a kinky leather outfit travels with a wolf pack and kills vampires with a crossbow. All she really wants is love.

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes Volume 1 (6 CDs at 6 hours) and Volume 2 (6 CDs at 6 hours) by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes. You may have heard of him before. Read by the guy who played Watson in those fantastic productions starring Jeremy Brett.

The Heir by Johanna Lindsey. Rich Scottish dude is supposed to marry one woman but loves another.

by Stephen White. 10 CDs at 12.33 hours. Doctor finds that a family with sick kids "stop at nothing to save one of its own."
