Rusty Puppy by Joe R. Lansdale. The plot does not matter because this is a Hap Leonard novel from Lansdale so I guarantee it will be a great story with great characters. And Nilla wafers.

Nolo's Encyclopedia of Everyday Law, 10th Edition by Shae Irving. This has a pretty decent chance of checking out.
A Legal Guide for Lesbian and Gay Couples, 18th Edition by Frederick Hertz and Emily Doskow. I don't know if this will circ' or not. Buying some legal guides is guesswork. Doskow's name is familiar, I think she writes a lot of legal guides. Let me check the catalog... yep, she's a divorce and family law guru.
Curvy Yoga: love yourself and your body a little more each day by Anne Guest Yelley. Okay the font used for the author's name is awful. The letters work for the title with a big font size but her name is too small and the swoopy, curvy lettering is way too difficult to read.
But My Family Would Never Eat Vegan: 125 recipes to win everyone over by Kristy Turner. Page 78 says, "Serve immediately."
Here We Are: 44 voices write, draw, and speak about feminism for the real world edited by Kelly Jensen. Let's see if I recognize any names... Roaxanne Gay is listed - she's a big deal literary deal.

Gifts in Jars: homemade cookie mixes, soup mixes, candles, lotions, teas, and more by Natalie Wise. Wise lives in Brattleboro, Vermont. I used to read a mystery series by Archer Mayor that was set in Brattleboro. I really enjoyed the series until I read one entry that was a clunker and I never got back to the books.

Chilbury Ladies' Choir by Jennifer Ryan. This has a one of our "Recommended By" bookmarks with Marilyn's name written on the mark.
On Turpentine Lane by Elinor Lipman. Something about a woman with a lame job an absent fiancee. I think hijinks and romance ensue. I am not sure.

I created some images on canva.com then printed, cut and laminated. I was putting my name on these and the books would just sit there. So, I just start putting fake names on there.

The CHEW Approved: the most popular recipes from The Chew Viewers. This show is on TV when I get home for lunch. I immediately turn the channel. When Boy #1 was still 3 or 4-years-old I'd come home from lunch and I would watch truck racing on ESPN.
In the Company of Women: inspiration and advice from over 100 makers, artists, and entrepreneurs by Grace Bonney. Let's look for writers... aww, they are not grouped by profession. I'll do a brief scan of the names... nope, only poets. "Only poets," what an accidental slight that was.

Art in Detail: 100 masterpieces by Susie Hodge. A thick book with a whole bunch of photos.

Quarry: the complete first season starring Logan Marshall-Green. TV adaptation of the lead character from Max Allan Collins's fantastic novels about a hit man. Logan come back from Vietnam with no job and a cheating wife. He gets forced by The Broker to kill for a living. Cinemax posted the first two episodes on YouTube for a brief time and the show was very interesting.

Not Your Mother's Slow Cooker Cookbook by Beth Hensperger. Well, if it was your mother's did you steal it?
Brew it yourself: make your own beer, wine, hard cider and other concoctions by Nick Moyle and Richard Hood. My brother went to the Czech and the Slovak Republics and tracked down sone distant relatives. The relatives gave my brother a bottle of home brewed vodka which he brought to WI when several relatives met here last summer. My goodness was that vodka vile. Yech. The bottle is still at my house.
The DC Comics Encyclopedia: the definitive guide to the characters of the DC universe. Wait. Should "universe" be capitalized in a subtitle? I suppose that depends on the relationship with the company name, DC.
Pojo's Unofficial Big Book of Pokemon by [no name]. People still dig this. I'm not sure why but they do.

Dog Heroes of September 11th: a tribute to America's search and rescue dogs by Nona Kilgore Bauer. A donation someone decided to add in. I admit I would have skipped this one so if someone else thinks the book will circ I am glad to add it.

The Stolen Child by Lisa Carey. Remote Irish island in 1959 gets an American coming to inherit a cottage and look for a holy well. Carey's photo has her outside wearing a red scarf. My library photo has me inside wearing a black scarf.

Autumn: a novel by Ali Smith. I tried reading the dust cover precis and it was gobbledy-gook. Ms. Smith is sitting on a couch for her author photo. The flowers behind her look real.
Salvation Lake by G.M. Ford. Mystery featuring character Leo Waterman. Page 47 says, "Two Pulitzer nominations."

In A Valley of Violence starring Ethan Hawke and John Travolta. Stranger comes to town. Stranger picks a fight. Violence and counter violence ensue.

Kiss the Devil Good Night by Jonathan Woods. Pulpy action goodness. Marital betrayal! Violent crime! Prison! Revenge!
The Girl Before by JP Delaney. You just know the publisher wanted something with "girl" in the title. The dust cover says JP Delaney is a pseudonym for a famous writer. One guess at the writer's identity is someone named Tony Strong. I never heard of him, which doesn't mean much.
Clownfish Blues by Tim Dorsey. The dust cover plot description says something about crazy people in Florida rigging the lottery.
Fatal by John Lescroart. Police detective has to recognize that her best friend may have killed the man she had an affair with.
Power Game by Christine Feehan. Physically enhanced commando teams up with genetically engineered spy for mission in Indonesia. Feehan's author photo is with a big fluffy looking dog. A BIG dog.
Audiobook on CD
Big LIttle Lies by Liane Moriarty. 16 hours on 13 CDs. This is from 2014 and must be one of the sale books I bought to fill in the collection.

Homesick for Another World by Otessa Moshfegh. Short stories by a woman who wins writing awards. I like the cover.
The Rising by Heather Graham and Jon Land. I have been intending to try out a book by each of these authors. I should read this one and kill two birds with one stone.
The Wicked City by Beatriz Williams. She has a familiar name. Let's see what she wrote... nope. I do not recognize those novels. Williams's author photo has her wearing a yellow earring.
The Magician's Lie by Greer MacAllister. Oh, hey, she might be coming to give an author talk here at the library. Our adult programmer has been emailing with her , or her agent, or her publicist, or her sister, or somebody about arranging a date.
Four Weddings and Sixpence by Julia Quinn, Elizabeth Boyle, Laura Lee Guhrke, and Stefanie Sloane. Paperback with four romance stories written by four authors. All four writers live in Seattle or the Pac. Northwest. That must have made any collaboration much easier.

Two Novels

Lucky Boy by Shanthi Sekaran. "That illuminates life's brutality but also it's beauty, revealing our foibles and wrong turns." Believe me, I'm well aware of my foibles. Well aware.
The Antiques by Kris D'Agostino. Siblings get together and either fight or reunite. I'm not sure. I did not read the full plot description on the dust cover.
