Eight Novels w/ Conspiracy, Witches, Dave Robicheaux

Creole Belle by James Lee Burke.  I'm guessing Dave Robicheaux has some killing to solve, a family mystery twitching his memory, a boat rental shed to clean, a .45 to carry, and lots of driving to New Orleans and back.

The Yard by Alex Grecian.  "Gerard?" "What?"  "Why did you order this one?" "I do not recall.  I'm pretty sure it had a good review and is something to do with an insane asylum."

Close Your Eyes by Iris Johansen and Roy Johansen.  Roy is the kid and according to the flyleaf bio was awarded and Edgar.  An Edgar award is a big deal.

Getaway by Lisa Brackman.  Nice cover.  Gal on vacation with Mexico has sex with a dude and she gets dragged into "covert operations involving drug runners, goons, and venture capitalists."  She should have used protection.

Advent by James Treadwell.  Cover has a crow, flying mermaids, a big and old church and lots of blue.

A Bad Day for Mercy by Sophie Littlefield.  Littlefield left some comment on Scott Phillips (St. Louis version) blog a few days ago.

Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness.  Sequel to a popular book.  Author photo is black and white.

Angelmaker by Nick Harkaway.  Clock repairman triggers a "1950s doomsday machine".  Trouble and conspiracy ensue over 478 deckled pages

Fiction From Famous Authors

The Next Best Thing by Jennifer Weiner.  That's right.  Weiner.

Criminal by Karen Slaughter.  A continuation of stupid covers for Slaughter books.

I, Michael Bennett by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge.  I have no interest.  Patterson took his author photo at 12:52.

Back Fire by Catherine Coulter.  Some sort of thriller.  Coulter took her author photo at 2:25.

Night Watch by Linda Fairstein.  Fairstein is wearing a ring with a green stone for the author photo.  Looks like she took her author photo at 5:30.
