Large Print and The Dollyrots

CD

Because I'm Awesome by The Dollyrots. The Dollyrots get regular airplay on Little Steven's Underground Garage radio show (available online, too). They are a garage/punk band with a sense of humour and lots of energy. The title track is good, as is My Best Friend's Hot.

Large Print

Withering Heights by Dorothy Cannell. From the book jacket, "The formerly plump girl turned Thin Woman may now be happily married and a mother, but Ellie haskell hasn't lost her wit, her weakness for Gothic romance, or her knack for solving crimes."

McKettrick's Pride by Linda Lael Miller. Ranching widower Rance rustles a roving, and randy, retailer for readers.

Simply Magic by Mary Balogh. A regency romance.

An Unexpected Family by Joan Medlicott. Kathleen Simmons comes to the Covington house and announces she is the illegitimate daughter of Amelia's late husband. In reaction to her husband's betrayal Amelia rejects Kathleen and her 7 year old daughter. But 7 year old Clarisse is the spitting image of Amelia's dead daughter.
