Up Close and Personal by Fern Michaels. Sarabess Windsor is the last of the family line in Crestwood, SC. Unless she can find her runaway daughter, Trinity. Conceived as a bone marrow donor Trinity fled Crestwood fifteen years ago.

Queen of Babble in the Big City by Meg Cabot. Cabot's popularity grew with her Princess Diaries and Mediator series for young adults. Her newer novels like this one are aimed at adults. Main character Lizzie just moved to New York and her big mouth is getting her in trouble in her new and desperately needed job and at home with her live-in boyfriend Luke.

Straight From the Heart by Tami Hoag. Physical therapist Rebecca is still angry at baseball player Jace for dumping her seven years ago. When severely injured Jace is hospitalized and his treatment is assigned to Rebecca she thinks nothing will ever change between them.

Still Summer by Jacquelyn Mitchard. Three women in their early forties reunite for a sailing trip when one returns from overseas. All three have to battle their own frailties plus the rigors of piloting a sailing ship attacked by pirates.
