Large Lot of Large Print

Large Print

How many of these Large print standing orders did I sign up for anyway? 50?

Down River by John Hart. Adam Chase leaves his self-imposed exile in New York City to return to North Carolina. Then he gets beaten up, confronted by his family and the girl who rejected him, and people start dying. I'm guessing this is a mystery but it's difficult to tell from the book jacket. Read it and let me know.

Away by Amy Bloom. I read the review for this when it came out but am not sure if I ordered the regular print version. Lillian is the sole family survivor of a Russian pogrom. Lillian escapes across Europe and the Atlantic to the Lower East Side. When Lillian hears that her daughter Sophie may be alive, she sets off across the U.S. and the Bering Sea back to Russia and into Siberia.

Tell-Tale Horse by Rita Mae Brown. We received the regular print version in September. The cover illustration is very similar to the regular print.

Race by Richard North Patterson. Sen. Corey Grace is in a ruthless political race for his party's presidential nomination. Grace must fight the "incendiary issues" of racism, terrorism, religious fundamentalism, gay rights and media monopoly and decide who he really is.

Last Noel by Heather Graham. Escaped killers invade the O'Boyle house during a Christmas blizzard. Skylar is determined to survive by pretending all is well in an effort to throw the killers off guard.

Heir by Barbara Taylor Bradford. Edward Deravnel runs the family's business empire in 1918 England. But, all is not well. Edward has to fight off relatives, rumours, and the new influenza epidemic. (If you are interested in the history of the flu epidemic check-out The great influenza : the epic story of the 1918 pandemic by John M. Barry.)

Mark's Story: The Gospel according to Peter by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. Latest part of the Jesus Chronicles. Mark witness Jesus' last day on Earth then, and with Peter, chronicles the history of Jesus and growth of the church.

NonFiction

A Family Christmas edited by Caroline Kennedy. Kennedy shares poetry, prose and other items from different authors. Selections from Billy Collins, Pearl S. Buck, JFK, and...David Sedaris!
