The Men's Book Club chose this for the January meeting. I didn't read it.
The Sweet In-Between by Sheri Reynolds. Kenny's mother is dead and her father is in prison. Kenny is about to turn eighteen and is living with her father's girlfriend, "Aunt" Flo. Flo's family is a mess, but better than living on the street. Kenny becomes obsessed by the murder of a neighbor.
