Monster: a novel of Frankenstein by Dave Zeltersman. I've read many nice comments about this. Bill Crider says it is a "whiz bang" version of the tale.
Stardust by Carla Stewart. Gal in East Texas buries her cheating husband and buys a rundown motel. Cover is very bright and cheerful which, to me, is incongruous with the neon sign in the background and the title.
A Wanted Man by Lee Child. Let me guess...Reach is traveling, Reacher meets people, Reacher gets into trouble, Reacher punches people, Reacher finds a Steyr GB, Reacher has sex, Reacher catches the bad guys and hits the bricks, you and I eat up every word.
