NonFiction Pack of ADVENTURE!

NonFiction

Astrophysics for People in a Hurry by Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Page 133 says, "Personally, I am quite comfortable with chemicals, anywhere in the universe." I'll probably take this one home for my children.

Grocery: the buying and selling of food in America by Michael Ruhlman. I read a neat review. He "traces the history of the grocery store and it's evolution from the earliest trading posts to retail chains and superstores." Author also hangs out at and works at the Heinen grocery chain out of Cleveland.

Al Franken: Giant of the Senate by Al Franken. I am pretty sure the g in giant is capitalized because it is used in a title. Even if the title is nonsense. Cover photo says Franken's photo was taken at 3:15. Page 169 says, "What's it look like?"I'd ask Schriock.

Doctor Who Heralds of Destruction by Paul Cornell, Christopher Jones and HI-FI. Comic book novel with the Third Doctor. We put comic book novels in the nonfic section.

Hue 1968: aturning point fof the American War in Vietnam by Mark Bowden. I recently rad an online comment that accused Walter Cronkite of being a traitorous commie because he thought the war was unwinnable. I shook my head at that. I read a Hue history a few years ago and it was interesting. Bowden is skilled at putting stories together so I expect this book is very well done.
