Certain Girls by Jennifer Weiner. Woman's fictionalized bestseller from years ago causes trouble when her daughter discovers the story.

Simply Perfect by Mary Balogh. Romance.

Then We Came to the End by Joshua Ferris. "Characters cope with a business downturn through gossip, secret romance, elaborate pranks, and increasingly frequent coffee breaks."

Lost Souls by Lisa Jackson. Kristi survives a serial killer twice and has become fascinated with them. She investigates missing girls from All Saints College.

Genius by Jesse Kellerman. Victor Cracke disappears and leaves behind an amazing collection of personal art. A gallery owner hosts a "wildly successful show" and finds that the elderly Cracke's work may be evidence of past crimes. I think that sounds like a neat concept. Does the Kellerman kid wear eye makeup like his dad does?

Death Dealer by Heather Graham. Someone is killing people following the stories of Edgar Allen Poe. Genevieve's mother may be next and she gets help from P.I. Joe Connolly who can speak to the dead.

A Prisoner of Birth by Jeffrey Archer. Prisoner of birth my butt, Archer. You were a prisoner of perjury.
