Nothing For Me: AudioBooks and Fiction

AudioBooks

Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri. "Eight stories that take us from Cambridge and Seattle to India and Thailand." Pulitzer Prize winning author.

Sundays at Tiffany's by James Patterson. Dreck. Girl has imaginary friend leave when she is nine years old and then he comes back in real life when she is thirty.

Santa Fe Dead by Stuart Woods. Santa Fe trial lawyer testifies as a witness against ex-wife and she makes his life miserable.

Fiction

Shadow of Power by Steve Martini. Attorney Paul Madriani defends murderer in a case with a secret about the Supreme Court, the Constitution, and a letter from Thomas Jefferson.

Blood Noir by Laurell K. Hamilton. Another one of those "vampire hunter" novels. I was wondering if this was one of those sex and vampire novels. I randomly opened the book and came to the beginning of Chapter 3. The first paragraph ended any doubt.

Blue Smoke and Murder by Elizabeth Lowell. I don't know what the deal is with this one. I tried reading the inside flap and it was complete nonsense.

NonFiction

Bryson's Dictionary for Writers and Editors by Bill Bryson. "One of the English language's most skilled writers...guides us all toward precise, mistake-free usage."

Country Ways and Country Days by Jerry Apps. Photos and comments

Door County's Emerald Treasure: a history of Peninsula State Park by William H. Tishler.
