Chopin Manuscript: a serial thriller by Jeffery Deaver and others. I said hello to Deaver when he was at the Murder and Mayhem event in Muskego this past Fall. He is a good dude.

The Disciple by Stephen Coonts. Iran has a nuke and wants to use it. The CIA plans to stop them. Coonts uses the real President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, as a bad guy intent on martyring his whole nation. Doing that seems like a bad idea for several reasons.

The Humbling by Philip Roth. Hoity-toity literary book. No vampires or private detectives allowed.
