Ice
A thin and slick layer of ice covered the pavement this morning. I used an entire 50 lb. bag on all our walkways. (That's 22.68 kilos, Dunedin.)

Death Race 2 starring SEAN BEAN. This looks like B-movie heaven. Convicts have to "drive - or die." There are other actors in this but SEAN BEAN is in it so who cares about the other dudes?
Julia starring Tilda Swinton. Alcoholic Julia lives in a booze haze and takes a try at crime. A try that escalates beyond control. Swinton was in Young Adam with Ewan McGregor in which both actors have full frontal nudity. Boy, I'll tell you, it was a shock seeing Obi-Wan Kenobi's penis.
Social Network starring Jesse Eisenberg. I still have not seen this flick.
Winter's Bone starring [actors] It is a great book and the movie is supposed to be stellar. Here it is in the original Swedish.
Fiction
Outsourced by Dave Zeltersman. Laid off software engineers have plan to rob a bank. The Russian mafia gets involved. Roger Smith really likes Zeltersman's work and that is a high endorsement.
Divine Misfortune by A. Lee Martinez. Another humorous fantasy novel by Martinez. Teri and Phil go online to find a personal God to help their career advancement. They find Luka "raccoon god of prosperity". Luka just wants a cut of the cash and a place to crash.

That's a lot of salt. I love the pictures you post of the snow. It is supposed to be summer here but the weather hasn't been very warm. Perhaps February will be better once all the schools have gone back.
